Windows Activation

I recently had to install a new harddrive on my computer and therefore had to
reinstall my version of windows XP home edition. Once I had reinstalled it
when I went to activate windows it gave me a message saying that the
activation key that I had used had been used too many times already. How can
I activate my newly installed Windows XP?
