I want to load Win98SE onto a partitioned hard drive
running under Win XP and Fat32. When CD is put into drive
a message appears refer to handbook but I can't find it

Go to the Windows Command prompt, type: CD\ to put you in the root
directory,
then insert the Win98 CD, change to the correct CD drive letter,
change to the Win98 directory and type: xcopy *.*/s d:\win98\
(assuming d: is the correct partition)

After the Win98 file is copied, change to the new partition and type:
Setup.exe

To add a Win98 to an existing XP system, using XP style dual booting,

Or else use a third party Boot manager like BootIT NG, from
http://www.BootitNG.com ($35 shareware - 30 day full functional trial)
