windows 98 with 2003 terminal server license

Dear All
i use window2s 98 with windows 2000 terminal server and i
have some windows 98 CAL what will happen to these CAL if
i uprade to windows 2003 license server, do i have to buy
new ones or uograde them or they will work with 2003 just
by upgrading the old 2000 terminal license server to 2003
terminal license server? and if soo they will be per user
or per device?

I assume that with "Windows 98 CAL" you mean a Windows 2000 TS
CAL, which happens to be used by a Windows 98 client to access a
Windows 2000 Terminal Server?

If that's the case, then upgrading your W2K LS to 2003 LS doesn't
change anything.
If you upgrade the W2K TS to 2003 TS, you will need to buy new
2003 TS CALs.
