Windows 7? Show Desktop

I cannot locate a Windows 7 NG so I am posting here in the hopes that
someone can point me in the right direction.

Is it possible to add the "Show Desktop" Icon/Function to Windows 7? There
is no Icon for it the lower left-hand corner as with Vista.

Next to the clock there is a small rectangle, hover on that and the
desktop appears.

As the others said:
Hover your mouse in the lower right corner to see your Desktop momentarily.
Click there to do the same as Vista's Show Desktop icon. Click again to
restore your prior Desktop contents.

Why don't you just click on the Win7 Task Bar's built-in "Show Desktop"
area immediately to the right (assuming you've left the Task Bar in its
default location at the bottom of the screen) of the Time Display? It's
fairly obvious, being a slightly different color than the Task Bar.

Hello, I have alittle more sophisticated problem I have Windows 7
Enterprise and have installed on my notebook a driver which supports
multitouch on the touchpad. I would like to configure a tap zone so that when
I tap the touchpad in a specified zone, the desktop is shown. In order to do
this I need to specifiy the path to the program which does this action. I
have already found the Show Desktop.Ink file, but in any way I can't find the
file that the shortcut reffers to. I supposed that the *.scf file could solve
the problem but could not find ANY file with this extension in whole
c:\windows\ or c:\users\. Searching the registry did not help also, as well
as dragging the shortcut to Notepad to see its properties. I'm aware that I'm
able to make such a file by myself, but I don't want to do this since I know
that there is a file or I don't know - some component of Windows - which does
the wanted action but I just cannot lokalize it... Any sugestion where the
file can be lokalized is welcome.
