Hi,

I am evaluating windows 2003 with Exchange 2003. I do not have the box
connected to the production network for internet assess, yet. I have set the
test box with its own AD domain and disabled DHCP. I want to add this
testserver to the network will it interfere with the current AD structure or
create any problems, for example excessive traffic; because, of the two
separate AD domains. I will be assigning a private address. Can you foresee
any concerns? Or should any other services be disabled?

As long as they are completely different namespaces and do not share DNS you
should be fine. This server can forward to your other DNS though.
