Windows 2003 Server as print server?

Hi!

I'm thinking of reinstalling my print servers with 2003 Server.

Has anyone got any experience? Advice?

Any reasons why or why not to do it?

Sofia,

I would say its a waste of money, unless you really like a feature of 2003
that will be beneficial as a printserver, i doubt there have been that many
advancements in that area though.

I'd stick with whatever your running now, unless its NT4, even then id do a
cost benefit analysis of spending all that money on 2k3 server.

If you have money to burn you coudl give it to me, i wodulnt mind having the
money to upgrade my terminal server and domain controller to 2003, theyll
just have to stick with 2000 for now.

Since my two w2k servers aren't very stable and I've heared that the
printing parts are compleatly rewritten I do have hopes for 2003... even
though ms wrote it...
