Windows 2003 & Domains 2000

I have a Windows 2000 Forest & everything is working fine. I need to know if
it is necesary to "prepare" the forest because I will integrate a windows
server 2003 as a member server.

No, introducing Windows 2003 as a member server don't force You to make
any changes in the directory.
