Need to uninstall Active Directory because trying to install Altiris TC and
if it is Domain controller can't install. I know we use dcpromo.exe to
install to make DC but what do I need to do to uninstall it and just make it
a server so that I can install HP Client manager.
 
Run dcpromo again to make it a member server. This will remove all domain -
user information.

AND make sure you have other DCs on the network. If the DC to be
demoted has FSMO roles you need to transfer them to another DC. If it
is the only GC you need to make another DC a GC.
Remember always have at least 2 DCs/GCs and always backup at least 2
DCs/GCs. Both for redundancy purposes
