Does anyone have the latest doc on a recommended OS Partition size (i have to
prove to someone 4gb isn't enough:) ) and then also securing a windows 2003
server - best practices?

4GB will accommodate the initial setup, but is definitely not enough to allow
for expansion with time. 20GB should be adequate unless you encounter
badly-written services that force the storage of data on the system
partition. If the disk is large I'd go for 50-100GB, or about 10%.

The worst mistake, though, is to use one gigantic partition for everything.
If you then have a need to reinstall the OS, you need to transfer all that
data somewhere else whilst you reformat. Use at least two partition, and
place all shares (other than sysvol/netlogon) on the second.
