Windows 2000/XP Workgroup acting weird

I have a 6 computer network

3 using Windows XP
2 using Windows 2KPro
1 Xerox Document Centre 535 w/ internal OS and processor
The Xerox is acting as a computer on the network using the Microsoft
Networking Workgroup name. No TCP/IP is installed or necessary

The Xerox shows up as a valid computer in the workgroup on ALL computers
except one. It's one of the Win2k machines. Why would it it show up on one
of the Win2k machines and not the other. I've installed the latest service
packs on both 2k machines as well as all critical updates. What's keeping
only ONE of my Win2k machines from seeing this Xerox on the network?

Thanks

What protocol is the Xerox using? It must be using something, possibly netbeui. Compare the protocols installed on the 2 w2k pc's. Make sure they are both using the same protocols and are configured the same (with different ip addresses on the same subnet of course). Check if the one that can see the xerox has the "Enable Netbios over tcpip" check box selected (it is in the advanced configuration for tcpip)
