Windows 2000 won't recognize D-Link DWL-G650 Cardbus card

I'm at my wit's end trying to figure out why Win XP, Redhat Enterprise
Linux, and Suse Professional Linux 9.3 all recognize this card and
Windows 2000 doesn't. The controller is a O2 OZ6912 and Windows 2000 is
a fresh SP4 install. From this KB article,
http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&ct=r....com/?kbid=265010.asp&ei=hHP-Qs-dD9C0Ye-K1KUH,
I see that support was a problem pre-SP1 but the controller shows in
the hardware list but the lights don't come on the card when I insert
it. If I leave the card inserted when I power the laptop on the link
like blinks every few seconds but if I insert the card after power up
the lights never come on. I've tried to install the drivers form the
new hardware wizard but when I go to the inf file no hardware shows up
in the list. XP isn't an option because I have random lockups with it
every few days. I've tried every variation I can think of to try to get
Windows 2000 to acknowledge this card. Does anybody have any
suggestions for me? After writing this it just occured to me that the
6912 is the single slot controller and the 6922 is the dual slot, I have
a dual slot. How could I force it to acknowledge it as the dual slot?
This copy of SuSE I'm running right now shows it as a 6912 though and it
is working correctly so once again I'm stumped.

Hi,
I use the card on my Thinkpad T21 with W2K, sp4 with all the latest
updates. No problem encountered. It is Rev. B2(Atheros chip). Are you
getting any errors when loading driver?
