Windows 2000 Unneeded Services?

From Administrative Tools > Computer Management, under Services and Applications I see a
lot of stuff that I may not need, like Indexing Service, starting with ".NET Runtime
Optimization Service", "Alerter", "Application Management", etc.

Can someone advise me or point me to a list that can tell me what I need on this list,
and what I can disable?
