Windows 2000 Term Svcs in a Windows 2003 Domain

Does anyone know how Terminal Server licensing works in a Windows 2003 Domain? I can't find anything on Technet. I have a client that will operate a 2000 TS in a 2003 domain and I'm not sure where I should install the TS License server. Can I install it on the 2000 Server and only pay for 2000 TS licenses or do I have to install it on the 2003 Domain Controller? If I install it on the 2003 Domain Controller, do you pay for 2000 or 2003 licensing? Thanks for your help!

You are supposed to use a 2003 Term. Licencing server.
Check the licencing FAQ here. Now, i have an open issue
with MS on the exact opposite. I am trying to intro. a
2003 term server with a 2000 licencing server which won't
work as per the above FAQ, but their workaroudn isn't
working either (installed licence service on 2003 in
domain mode, but it still won't issue licences).

You can install either a Win2000 LS or a Win2003 LS. Both can issue Win2000
CALs (which is what you need with a Win2000 TS).
