I have just installed Service Pack 4. Now, when one of my
services tries to start after reboot, it times out. Is
there any issues with starting services that I need to
know about with SP4? (This does not happen without SP4)

Thanks

Event viewer says that the service is timing out. But
there's no reason for this - the service is perfectly
fine. (It's a proprietary service, not one that comes with
windows)

It's a proprietary service. It runs without problem,
except when the machine is rebooted. I was just wondering
if there were any known issues like this.

-Rudy

No known issues. You may need to contact the developer.

Often this type of problem is due to something that the service depends on
that is not yet available, like another service.
The developer of this service needs to figure out what's wrong here.
