My windows 2000 server dc nic stopped working. Computers cannot log into it
and it cannot be seen on the network. I'm trying to log in to the local
computer to go into the device manager to remove the nic, but it's not
listing the local computer option at the login screen.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

you don't have local computer logon option since this is dc. have you tried save mode?
