Windows 2000 Server does Not Show UP ?

I have a Windows 2000 Server that does NOT show up on
anyone's computer in "My Network Places". The server
does NOT belong to a domain, it has a workgroup name. It
has file and print sharing, it also is on the same IP
network / subnet. I can ping it from every workstation,
and the server can ping other workstations.

Any ideas was it does not show up in "My Network Places"?

Make sure that the server service is started, netbios over tcp/ip is enabled in
tcp ip/advanced/wins properties, and run netdiag on it looking for any failed
tests that may be pertinent. Also run " net config server " to make sure that is
not set to be hidden. --- Steve
