WIndows 2000 server doees not show in domain after reboot

Hello all experts,

I have restarted 2 of my w2k servers and none of them will
appear in the domain anymore
they are connected to the domain like they were before the
restart however it is impossible to connect to these
servers anymore

Have any of you come across something like this
I thought of a WINS / DNS issue but neither seems to be
the case
i alerady rebuild my w2k Arcserve server and this is now
resolved however i would not like to do this to all my
servers after a restart
is there a hotfix available for this??

Depending on what exactly you mean by "server does not show in domain",
the computer objects may have been deleted somehow or the secure channel
password may be out of sync. From one of the servers experiencing the
problem, go into its System Properties and remove it from the Domain
(add it to a WORKGROUP), reboot, then add it back to the Domain and see
what happens.
