windows 2000 problem

to whom it may concern
I have been running win 2000 for the past 2
years,something happened.
When I try to boot up I now get the following message:

"windows 2000 could not start because the following file
is missing or corrupt,
,windows 2000root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
please re-install a copy of above file".

I tried loadind my win 2000 disk but it gives me the same
result.
please help me.

hv u tried installing win2k thru any other media (might be ur Win2k CD is bad).

This is usually the result of an incorrect setting in
the hidden file c:\boot.ini.
- What is the contents of your boot.ini file?
- What is your partition structure?
