Windows 2000 Pro and Windows XP

I have a LAN with a Windows XP machine and a Windows 2000
pro machine. I was wondering is there anyway for the
Windows XP machine to remote desktop into the Windows 2000
Pro machine. Any sort of Terminal Service Client that can
be installed on the 2000 pro machine so that the XP
machine can take it over.

No. There are 3rd party products to allow remote control of a 2000 Pro machine, i.e. VNC, PCAnywhere, Laplink... but Remote Desktop sessions can only be hosted by NT4 TSE, 2000 Server, XP Pro & Server 20003
