Windows 2000 login

I have recently developed a excessive login time(15-20
min.) The desktop is Windows 2000 with Office XP pro. The
server is "Server 2000". There have been no changes to the
server or desktop (domain). I'm lost
 
Check the ipconfig/all from the client. Does everything point to your
server-IP?
