Windows 2000 german to english?

I have a computer with a win 2000 german install and am trying to install
office 2003 but english and it says that it cannot be installed, is it
possible to change the OS language interface somehow?

I dont believe you can change the o/s language unless possibly you have an
'enterprise?' version of win

I was not able change the os language interface, and wasn't able to install
English version of office
but croatian version passed fine.
