Windows 2000 Computer Caught in Reboot

Ok here's my dilemma. I have a customer who is running windows 2000
pro and when he starts his machine it goes to the splash screen then
goes black and reboots. It keeps getting caught in a reboot loop.

Now I have the customer try safe mode (F8) and when it goes to a menu
it is a boot menu IE: hard drive, floppy, nic, etc. now he has no safe
mode option and when he chooses hard drive it just keep getting caught
in a loop.

Please help.

I have the same issue, I am not sure if it is a virus or what. I also do not
have a w2k boot disk so cannot get past this. Wanted to try to run
Stinger.exe if I could ever get to a prompt.

Yes actually is was several virus's but nowthey are cleaned and gone.
