Windows 2000 Cable Router / VPN problem

Hi,

On Windows 2000 I recently created a VPN connection to my company's
VPN. Now, after disconnecting from the VPN I can no longer get a
network connection using my SMC Barricade 7004VWBR broadband router. My
connection only works if I connect directly from my PC to the cable
modem, bypassing the router. The router connection works fine if I boot
my computer using Linux.

Anyone know why this is and what to do to fix it?

Can you ping other computer by IP? posting the result of ipconfig /all here may help.
