Windows 2000 backup

If I backup to slave drive and in the event of a crash do a fresh installation
of win 2k and then do restore from the backup with options to overwrite
all files what results will I get?

I do like the scheduled backup of this program whilst I am using win 2k

I am using Drive Image 2002 to create backup images but this has its
limitations.

Along with the normal backup you also need to do a system
state backup, when doing a restore, make sure to restore
both the normal back and the system state.

This applies to a domain controller.
He didn't state if it was for desk top or DC.
