Windows 2000 and Driect X

Does Windows 2000 come with a direct X install. If so,
how is it activated and what version is it?
 
Windows 2000 comes with DirectX 7.0.

1. Start -> Run.
2. Type dxdiag, hit Enter

This will give you the DirectX diagnostics tool that tells you your version
info and give you some diagnostics tools.
