I have Windows 200 Pro installed on my computer with all of the latest
updates and I have a 10gig hard drive with the OS on it and then I have a
second hard drive that is my storage drive and files are constantly going on
an doff of this hard drive. The size of the second hard drive is 200gigs.
Well basically I have one folder with about 1500 files in it and when I go
into the folder to sort out the files it keeps on giving me errors when I try
to move the files (cut and paste). Basically it will move most of the files
but them some files won't move. It gives me some error that says that the
drive is unreadable. Well I pulled this 200gig hard drive out of a WinXP Pro
machine and it worked flawlessly in there and I was doing the same thing that
I am doing here. I am just wondering if there is some issue with Windows 2000
Pro that is not allowing me to read this hard drive.
If I do get this error I can restart the system and then I can move the
files but this would require me to reboot the machine at least once a day
which isnt what I wanted to do. If anybody can help me out at all please do
so!! Thanks!!
