window xp service pack 1 (express)

I been trying to down load servcie pack 1 but get error
thatI need to verify that my cryptographic service is
running on this computer. This happen after done system
restore. Some e-mail me a fix but it had a virus
W32.swen.@mm in it. It was a pack 5868.exe if I remember
wright. wayne
