window xp run very slow

day before i installed window xp on my pc but after
installation it run very slow please help me .
i use P IV, 128 MB RAM THEN ALSO IT RUN VERY SLOW

you should buy some more RAM of the right sort( check you
motherboard manual to find out which RAM sticks are
compatable), get 256MB RAM that should make it faster
