Window XP home edition SP 2

I am user of window XP home edition. I am getting warning that this version
is not upto date. I want to download SP 2 from updates and save it as soft
copyfor future use..
Is window XP SP 2 forIT Professionals and developers is also campatable with
my Home edition. Can I download and install it in my single PC.
Kindly solve my problem
