Is it possible to tranfer files from safe mode to a new computer...My PC is
infected and I don't want to restore it to normal...
New PC will have Windows 7 Home Premium
Thanks,Nicolino

Sure is - just boot it into Safe Mode with Networking, then copy the files
across the network. Note that same viruses can travel on networks . . . A
safer method would be to connect the infected disk as a slave disk to your
other PC, then copy those files across that you believe to be virus free.
Having an up-to-date virus scanner on the second machine is essential.

In normal mode the malware shuts the PC down in 16 seconds or slow so the
slave thing won't work...However I do have Norton 2003 version which I can
use to check file infection

When you connect the infected disk as a slave to some other machine then the
other machine will call the tune. It will not shut down unless it is also
infected.
