INSTALLING SP 2

I have recently installed Windows XP home edition. When I first started to
update to SP1 I after the download and the computer go the blue screen. I
got the disc for SP1 and installed with no problem. Now I'm trying to
install SP 2 and again I get the blue screen. My question is why can't I
download from the website and not get the blue screen. Or should I just
purchase the disc for SP 2 and SP 3. Thanks!!!

Can u please mention the error code.

However you can get the free disk for sp3
You have to contact Microsoft for the sp3 and they eill send you free disk

You have to PAY for SP3 on CD from Microsoft. SP2, you did not have to
pay.

IIRC the objective was to get SP2 on as many vulnerable PC's as possible.
