Window updates - SLOW!!!!

I'm doing windows security updates. Some are installing
at an extremly slow pace. example, kb823182 has been
installing for 3 hours now. Is this normal?
If I close this before it's finished will there be
problems?

Mark, don't download too many at one time. Just 3 or 4. Check here for
some more info.
