Window size problem

Not a hugh problem, but very annoying, just the same.

When using IE 6, the initial browser window opens sized
properly. If a new window is called for by a link, the
window opens sized to the minimum (and not in front).
There has to be an easy fix.

I'm assuming that you mean the right-click "open in a new window"
rather than clicking on a link.

You should be able to resize the child window by dragging it out to
the size you want (not clicking), then close it by clicking the x at
the corner while holding down the Ctrl key.

Any idea how you got the new window to open in back? That would be my
choice, if the option existed.
