Hi,

I hava a 26 inch monitor and I'd like to have a finer control on my
applications windows, define visually the maximum size of the application
window, so when I click the MAXIMIZE button it'll restore to the size that I
defined previously. I also like to define the position of the app window at
startup and so on. Does anyone know of a application that does that?

You will need to reset the folder view settings. Look at method two in
this tutorial for how to do it. The download will be the easiest way.
This will allow Vista to remember your settings as you last left them.

This is not exactly what I want. See, I want an application to restore to a
previously defined "max size" when I click the MAXIMIZE button of it. The
position of the application could be fixed, always opening and staying in
that predefined space on the monitor. Imagine a big screen and a series of
apps opened "MAXIMIZED" but limited to a part of the screen.

Andre,

this is not wxactly what I want, I want a application that manages all
applications windows where I can define the the maximum size, if i'll open in
the last position, and so on. Your solution works if I'm coding a windows
form application, but that's not what I need.

Imagin a application that catalogues other application so that when I open I
"managed" app, this manager takes control and makes the app open in the
position defined, maximum size defined too and so on.
