Window Explorer right pane right click on item menu

I have reinstalled an editor program and now the menu that shows Open, Edit,
Open With.. and other things has stopped showing the editor program. How do
I add this back? How do I add or change things in this menu?

You can likely get the entry back in Open with... by doing this. Right-click the file and choose Open with... | Choose program... | browse to the executable you know is used to open the file | select it | open.

If it opens successfully you should have that as one of the available Open with the next time you try it.
