Window doesn't stay maximized

Hi,

When I open the recycle bin I like to have it maximized along with the
status bar shown. So I click to maximize and put a check mark on view
status bar. I then exit and reopen the recycle bin and it's the way I want,
but after awhile or rebooting my computer the recycle bin isn't maximize or
show the status bar anymore. Can someone help?

Instead of clicking on Maximize use your mouse to drag the sides, top and
bottom of the window to full screen. Close the window by clicking on File
and then Close, do not use the red X this first time. Now the window should
open to full screen. Works for OE, IE and Windows Explorer.

Sadly, it doesn't work in Computer Management, Event Viewer, Services,
etc. which all open as usuably small windows at the top left of the
screen :-(

I don't know how to open them full size, probably some registry entry.
