I hope I am imagining this, but it seems you cannot change
any of your window background colors when using Aero?
If I navigate to:
\ Window Color and appearance \
Open Classic appearance properties for more color options \
Advanced... \
I can change the colors as I could in XP Pro, but nothing
sticks? Probably a bug they've enabled the option to change colors
while in Aero mode. I and probably others are saddled with this
bleach white background forever if we want to use Aero? Or
should I say; (A)n (E)xtremely (R)idiculous (O)versight.
Wow I hope I am wrong with my observation. I recall someone
mentioning "years" ago that in a themed GUI, you cannot change
most of it's attributes since they are hard-coded. Kind-of reminds
me of the professor in Gilligan's Island. He can make a radio out of
a coconut but he can't fix a hole in the damn boat!
If this is true, I'll stroke up one more skid mark for Windows Vista.
