Windoes Media Player Taken over my computer

Windows Media player keeps on opening when i close it (i
restarted my computer and it still happens) And wehen i
minimise it it swithces back to it
 
Hi Dave,

Other than sypware checks as suggested, check the properties for it not to
open upon boot and uncheck it from Start/Run/Msconfig/Startup, remove it
from your Startup Folder under C and if needbe, remove the runkey from here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
