Windat problem

We have one user who can't send attachments to external clients, they appear
as "windat" files. She can send internally fine and to certain external
companies. If I send files to the companies that she has problems with they
are fine. I have compared our settings and they are the same (Outlook 2003,
Exchange 2003), plus I have tried to get her to send in plain text and they
still receive them as windat's.

What can I do?

Assuming that the name(s) are coming from this users contacts folder, make
sure the contact record is not marked to always send messages in Outlook
Rich Text format. (Open contact record and then double click on e-mail
address)

Should I set to plain text?

Yes, because I don't know what the user has the dropdown in the middle at
Tools > Options > Mail Format > Internet Options set to.
