forwarding attachments with Outlook 2000 sends windat files

When forwarding attachments using outlook 200 lately I get mail back telling
me the receiver could not open the files as they were windat files ???? The
only way I can send the correct file is to cut it from the e-mail I received
and save it on my computer then attach it to an e-mail. IN other words I
can't FORWARD attachments to a lot of people. Any ideas ?

Try changing the format of your messages to plain text or HTML.
