Windamail.dat

I regulalry send an e-mail with an Excel attachment to
some colleagues and frequently they tell me they can't
open it as it was received by them as a Winmail.dat
file ? Sometimes though they do receive it as an Excel
spreadsheet. does anyone know why this happens and how to
solve it? My email software is Outlook.

to 'decode' the winmail.dat

Change your Outlook settings from "RTF" to "Plain Text".
