Win98 inbox e.mail to Win XP

Before upgrading to Win XP, I transferred my old Win98se
inbox for e.mail to a CD. I would like to know how to
transfer these e.mails to my outlook express 6 inbox in
Win XP.

Frank, I was using IE6 and OE6 mail program. The files
are in 'inbox.dbx'.

BTW, it's not generally though to be a good idea to keep ALL your emails in
any of the default OE files as they tend to corrupt fairly easily. Create
folders and move any mails you want to keep into those instead.

Just Inbox.dbx?
Copy it to an empty Windows folder or My Documents and remove the Read Only
attribute.

I suggest you copy ALL the dbx files to another location.
I have my emails on a folder on the D: drive (another partition on my
HD) and OE is pointed to that.
