I currently have 2 e.mail accounts. One with comcast and one with hotmail.
| Can I setup Outlook to download e.mails from both accounts and/or to send
| e.mails through either account. It's currently setup to only receive and
send
| via comcast and I would like to use Outlook to be able send and receive via
| hotmail. I now can only access my hotmail directly through their website

Hi JJ,

I would need to inform you the after 11th November, 2004 MSN Hotmail no
longer supports Distributed Authoring and Versioning (DAV) for free user
accounts. Outlook Express use the DAV interface to connect to Hotmail. So,
free hotmail user may not be able to configure his account in MSOutlook or in
Outlook Express. To know more about the issue please visit the below
mentioned web-links.

The good people at Hotmail survive because they can sell advertising
space. If you could bypass the Hotmail website with Outlook then you
would not be forced to read the ads, hence the advertisers would not
want to pay lots of money to Hotmail. Nothing is free in life, not even
Hotmail!

Others have replied to you regarding the particular issues with Hotmail. I
will just add that if they were both POP3 accounts, you would have no
problem doing this. Outlook readily supports multiple accounts.I have three
E-mail accounts set up here in Outlook 2003.
