Sending e.mail

I am having problems sending e.mails...I can receive them ok...but any I am
trying to send are just sitting in my outbox. There is no error message, they
just aren't being sent...yet the whole send/receive function seems to be
going normally.
I have one message in my outbox that is undeletable and instead of the
message it says:

Message could not be displayed
Windows Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this
message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again

This has also happened to two messages in my inbox.

I've checked all the settings on the account - it is a Yahoo e.mail account
that comes through to Windows Mail.

Any suggestions? I don't want to delete the whole windows mail account, coz
I don't want to lose all my messages.

Move as many of the Outbox messages as you can to he Drafts folder.
If any won't move or can't be deleted, apply this Microsoft fix:

Although that article only mentions Outbox, it works for all mail folders.
