The computer meets all the requirements. Why won't it
work in WIN98-2. We're waiting for Longhorn.

It does not meet the all requirements, if you are running windows 98 min.
sys. requirements is windows 2000 and above

Frank, just a bad joke. I have no idea - I blew away my alpha of Longhorn
last month.

I thought I was going to have to fire up my Longhorn machine and try it.
The alpha is so old I haven't turned the machine on in six months.

Ditto--I've got it on a removable drive, but haven't looked at it in a long
while.

Nah--its a dumb terminal into the production machine!

'course, it is also running a VPC which at the moment is testing both Norton
Antispyware and Microsoft Antispyware.

So, having managed the installation of Norton, I turned the thing on
today--not sure the exact sequence, because I believe I did a reboot of the
VPC yesterday--at any rate, I got an ISTBAR alarm from NAS. Looked real--in
program files. I recommended a scan, I said yes, and it scanned directly
for just ISTBAR--I think it looked at a total of 4 files, and
autoquarantined what it found.

I liked that.

Nary a peep out of MAS in the meantime. Both products alert at each-other's
activity, but so far the alerts are reasonable and easy to deal with, with
appropriate defaults.
