PLEEEAAASE HELP!! I am trying to get Windows 95 & Windows 98
Workstations that used to login to a NT4 Server to now login to a
Win2K Server. I have Installed DSClient, they have IE5.0 128 bit
Enc., Active Desktop on. What am I missing?! I am used to XP & 2000
workstations and have no experience with these older stations. I need
to know if the domain name needs to be in a special format, etc.
Thanks

On the Win9x machines configure Client for Microsoft Networks to log onto an
NT domain. Use only the NetBIOS name of the AD domain.

Thanks for the help, but I did that. They were logging into an NT
domain that I had set up years ago so the basic networking was already
in place. Their server went bad and they now have a 2000 server,
nothing else different. I changed the name on the Network setup to
the new domain name, installed DSClient, the users are part of the
"pre-windows 2000" group, etc. Everything I could find to read has
been done. I have to be missing something!
