Win32 BI Application and Host.dll

I appreciate any help here...

I found my home page had been changed and then discovered the Win32 BI
Application in my add and remove programs. A Google search immediately found
several remedies, however, the none of them are working for me. I
uninstalled the application (before running my spyware), then deleted the
files after running the spyware twice. And even upon deleting the folders,
still have the spyware in program files. I have deleted files and folders
and upon reboot, they are back. I also cannot delete the icon from my
toolbar. It also magically appears upon reboot. I searched for the
winnt\host.dll files to no avail; of course, these were probably deleted
when I ran the spyware and/or uninstalled the program. I have tried
everything. Oh, and I cannot find the added entries per the registry,
either. I haven't system restored or disabled restore until I get a better
handle on this.

Anyone with an answer? Would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jan,

1) Install and run Adaware from www.lavasoft.de

2) Install and run Spyware Blaster from
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

3) Dump all TIF's and selectively delete unwanted cookies

4) Turn on the native firewall or install a third-party one

Thanks for the links, with the tips above and alot of other doing, I
think I am finally free and clear of the dialer/hijacker/aggravation. And
thanks for the firewall links, although I keep up with security and av
updates religiously, I was not firewalled (duh), had disabled XP's firewall,
I do not like it. And though I did not have a virus or worse, in my opinion
this was just as destructive. This one almost made me reinstall, was alot of
work to remove. I already had AdAware, but had to run it five times to
completely rid myself of the bugger.

<snip>

I "aquired" the hijacker when I downloaded a game <cringe, I should know
better>. So... in running sans a firewall, I may have a large phone bill;
won't that be a costly lesson to learn. Should have been downloading Zone
Alarm or such, lol, instead of a crappy game.
