WIN3.......virus???

Help. When my desktop loads in Windows 2000, a little box appears in top
left corner saying "WIN3".
Sometimes this pops up when I'm on a website and then hangs it.
Anyone any idea what this is and how can I get rid of it?

(http://housecall.antivirus.com ) and perform and online scan of your platform and report
back your results.

Unistall all the uneccessary crap on yrou computer. In my expereince most
virus dont have a DDB that pop up. thats in olden days. It's probable more
likley you in advertantly installed some program from the web that is
affecting yrou browsing. a pop up blocker perhaps. Go through your add
remove programs DDB and look for programs that you dont recall installing
yourself and remove them.
