Everything was fine when I shutdown Friday night, but when
I turned the pc on Saturday morning I found a problem I
haven't been able to fix. Opening screen checks for
keyboard, mouse and things, but the next screen gives me
this message...
NTLDR is missing
Press any key to restart
When I press a key, I get the same message again. I have
done a full reformat but still get the same message. I can
bypass this if I have my Win2Kpro disk in the CDR before I
turn on the pc.
It might help if I knew what the NTLDR is but at this
point I am lost. I am thinking of unplugging the BIOS with
another reformat and see if that helps. If not, then I
guess I will be taking the pc to a shop to see if it can
be repaired.
If anyone can help I would appreciate it greatly.
Thank you,
Brenda
