Win2k sp4 install fails

Hi,
I have a number of machines where I cant install Windows 2000 Service Pack
4. The following is the error from the install log:


DoInstallation:RunInfProcesses for ProcessesToRun Failed
***

Service Pack 4 Setup encountered an error: An error in updating your system
has occurred.
***

Failed Deleting C:\WINNT\system32\msiinst.tmp 2
***

Any ideas? Thanks

Here is the rest of the svcpaklog you requested. just tolet you know I am
trying to push this out in an Enterprise setting via SMS. The solution is
something I need to beable to automate...Thanks

Installed the patch q313664 and that didn't work either same error as
before.

I did have some luck with a couple of machines renaming the msisip.dll to
msisip.old before installing and sp4 worked. But for other machines this
failed also. Any other ideas? Thanks
